Excalibur High Capacity

The MacLean Excalibur Displacement and Pressure Grouted Piles are large diameter pipe piles that utilize a bolted or threaded coupler system. These piles are available with installation torque capacities ranging from 32,000 ft-lbs to over 200,000 ft-lbs and standard available material strengths of 80 and 110 ksi.

Piles are installed using common hydraulic rotary equipment. These deep foundation elements can provide axial capacities ranging from 180 to over 1,200 kips.

Our Pressure Grouted Displacement Piles are installed by pumping grout through the ID of the pile and exiting at grout ports placed at the pile tip while it is advanced through the soil by the hydraulic rotary equipment. This results in a steel shaft encapsulated in a grout column which can better resist lateral and moment loads as well as provide increased axial load resistance.

Each component, from the shaft to the grout column, is custom-sized to fit your project’s specifications.
